Dave Lewis at our friends machine shop cutting out his new engine mount plate for his 582 powered Slingshot. Dave is going to an E gearbox and had to alter Richard Girard's design to get a full inch of offset so his starter would clear the airframe. 

My plate will follow Richards design and only offset the engine 3/4". My sons machinist class will begin cutting it tomorrow. The CNC program is finished and waiting for my plate.
