I used Bussman fuse blocks for automotive blade fuses for all my circuit protection. The tab/Faston connectors

I used Bussman fuse blocks for automotive blade fuses for all my circuit protection. It has tab/Faston connectors. I use AMP PIDG (pre-insulated, diamond grip) spade connectors. They have an extra bit of metal that crimps to the wire insulation and makes a very robust connection. I would not think of soldering a tab-type connection. You can get the fuse blocks, terminals and tools from Stein Air (http://www.steinair.com) and others
