Just a quick question. Im doing this mod on my classic and want to know just before i make the cut.....i have layed up the in fill and have clicoed the top moulding into place. I am just about to cut off the front section and want to ask is there a specific place at which to make the horizontal cut or just make it the same both sides? (this is cut 2 on the plans)

I made my cut on the wind screen rear edge. I have attached two picture, but if you need more contact me off line.

I did the 64B mod. When I got the wind screen it was smaller than the opening so I had a lot of back filling to get it to fit.

Hey thanks for the reply. I took the plunge today and made the cuts. My concern was where to make the horizontal cut, how far up the pillar. There is no defined height as long as they are the same both sides. I made the cuts 25cm up from the lower edge of the upper moulding.
