For non-sukhoi drivers, as in Yaks and CJ's with M-14's, there are two levers located on the left cabin wall... they do Not need to be placed fully towards the firewall😂. My experience taught me to operate at one of the published power settings so I could check for consistent temps/pressures flight to flight. Gills and oil cooler positions seemed to favor a "sweet" spot that yielded the same readings.
