The physical address is 5070 Hwy 95 S, Jordan Valley Oregon. Jordan Valley is the nearest town, but 52 miles away, so if you are planning to come, stock up before you leave what is commonly known as "civilization". There is plenty of room to camp. Bring sunscreen, shade is rare. The area is high Desert, with spectacular, but scattered scenery. Runway elevation is 4000 feet. Runway length is 2800 feet of dirt. There is also a 700 foot cross wind runway. If you are forced by wind to use it, 700 feet is quite long enough. Radio traffic use- 123.450. Phone number- 541 586 5030 - call if you plan to attend.Larry Cottrell

I live in deep south Alabama & haven't seen that much open space in years...

I plan to be there. However, I won't be flying, again this year.
Looking forward to visiting my favorite people and one of my favorite places in CONUS.
Here is another photo of the Rock House taken from MKIII, N101AB, in 2011. This is a Kolb friendly airfield for sure.
First flew to this part of the world in 2005. Every year thereafter until 2012, except for 2010.
We met and made a lot of new friends, rediscovered old friends, since the first Monument Valley Flyin in 2003. Basically, that is what the Rock House Flyin is all about. Friends that were made because of our Kolb aircraft. It has been an amazing journey.

Have fun fellas. I shall not forget the one and only time I made it. We were on holiday and we drove to the Fly in from San Diego mainly using the backroads
Afterward we drove down to Santa Fe and met some friends from the East Coast. We also fell in with Big Lar who took us out around the mountains to see all sorts of interesting places.
