After a little research I opted to go with the Permatex Nickel Anti Seize.
The Red Copper RTV is only good for 700 degrees and it did not stay put very long last time I used it.
The Nickel Anti Seize is good for 2400 degrees and I will be trying it soon. By the way be careful where you order it. I found prices from $15 to $165 for the 8 oz. Bottle.
