Here is a question about RPM.
I have a PZL101 "gawron".
It's original engine was an AI14R ivchenko.
The tachometer you see in the photo is the original currently in the instrument panel. It is fed by a mechanical drive off the top of the air start distributor.
We have been lucky to swop the AI14R with a M14p.
My question is about the colour range painted on the perimeter of the original tachometer. It is not consistent with the yak operating range.
We have a V530 on the M14p.
The stock prop for the 101 is visually longer but I don't have exact dimensions.
Have at it .....any suggestions on repainting the M14p operating range or are we looking at an adjusted prop RPM indicator. ?
Regards BRAD
