I measured the alignment and the left is 1/8 toe out and the right is 3/8 toe out. I have replaced the right axel as it was bent. I don’t know if that has anything to do with the difference in alignment.
Are your landing gear the straight ones or the bent ones, which is what I have. Bend the landing gear seems a little drastic. I’ve been told by an A&P to use shims in the same manner as they do Cessnas.

I bent mine with my son's pipe bender... an exhaust fabrication s shop may have something,, you need to be able to measure in fractions of deg. It is touchy as you have to bend past Weber you need and let it spring back to where you need it.. it takes several trys to find the point where the bend stays put On May 30, 2014 7:10 PM, "Brad Nation" <nationcap(at)comcast.net (nationcap(at)comcast.net)> wrote: Quote: | --> Kolb-List message posted by: Brad Nation <nationcap(at)comcast.net (nationcap(at)comcast.net)>
I understand how to measure the wheel alignment but what I don’t understand is how to change the alignment.

Send me a photo of your gear.    I can't think off a place where you could add shims.
Do not archive
