Shot in the dark, but my radio gave up the ghost. No TX or RX, tried different antenna. Looking for a replacement or troubleshooting tips.

Joe, I am sorry but I really can't help you with this.

Any Western radio will work, and would be a wise move to install.

I am sure there are folks somewhere that repair the things, and I started to get into that at one time and then decided that it was not worth the effort.

No Tx or Rx is PROBABLY the PLL board... if you can find one to replace it with.

Joe- my Russian radio was giving constant static in my Yak-18T and nobody seems to support them as parts are scarce. I put in a FlightLine 760 2 1/4 square Radio and new Sigtronics intercom. What a relief from all that static.

Joe I kind of recall there being a fuse in the radio like an old automotive Buss glass tube fuse but that's in a Yak 52 with the radio behind the rear seat in a rack.
