I was just reading through the log books of my CJ. At some point some mechanic started adding Glycerine into the air tank, and there was an entry where he added a mixture of ACF-50 and glycerine. The manual states castor oil only. Anyone know the implications of this concoction on the actuator seals and the rest of the air system?

Years ago I contacted ACF-50 via E-Mail and asked about ACF-50 in the compressed air system on the aircraft. I never received a reply, based on that I assumed it was not a good idea.
