Hi all,

I am usually lurking but want to throw in my 2 cents on the bike brakes.

I installed a set of Avid hydraulic bike brakes on a mark II Twinstar, I

have about 60 hours on them and they have been working great, way better

than the cable drum brakes that are on my CGS Hawk or the cable disc brakes

that came with Twinstar. I mounted the two brake levers on my control stick

and can activate either side or both sides with just my fingers, they do not

require as much force as the cable type. Having the handles on the control

stick has worked really good for me, I can apply brakes and continue to use

the rudder without having to teach my feet to tap dance.

anyway that's my 2 cents.
