My Yak 52 engine has always run well, particularly after adding Dennise's ignition kit. The cylinder head temp, though, has been about 10C higher than I liked. Fuel pressure has been about 2 Rooskies, which is the bottom end of the range. Dennis and Tommy Hudson suggested to try increasing the fuel pressure. I turned the screw on the bottom of the fuel pump in 3/4 turn. Fuel pressure now 3 1/2 Rooskies. Temps dropped 10 C. and engine even smoother. Perhaps slightly lean previously?
The above is just for general information.
