I pulled #2 and #4 cylinder off as I had a loss of compression because of over heating.
I'm reading JEM0001-4 Overhaul Manual and on page 109 of 197, section 7.3.1, it states "Ensure the gaps are within the limits given in Table 12. 0.50 – 0.60mm is typical in a 97.60mm bore though the gap will vary depending on the exact size of the barrel."
but when you go to Table 12 it give 'N/A" under the Top End Inspection and 0.44 -1.20 under the New Clearances.
Any idea which I should follow?

its probably related to the new piston to bore clearances
Jaba chat Dec.2008 page 2
'increased from 0.002" to 0.004"
this mentioned again in advisory engine bulletin 17 - and Jaba Chat / Engine news March 2011 page 9
Advice has been that the cylinders should be honed out to twice the earlier stated clearances when removing older cylinders
So I would go with the latest info
