Found another rattle!
This one is the elevator counterweight rattling against the guide (port
side). There does not seem to be an easy way to adjust it towards the
centre. Any tips?

Add bracing cables and turnbuckles either side, as per the original design. Adds some weight, which contributes to the counterbalance weight that can then be reduced to compensate partly.
