Quote: | I have replaced my hose clamps for the cylinder oil returnl lines and the crank case vent line with constant compression (tension) clamps.
The return oil clamps are metal and can be found here:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0040CYVOK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
They are tough to install in a flying aircraft due to access but really worth the effort. They have eliminated all oil leaks from the hoses.
The crank case clamp is another place I had oil leaks and this clamp has completely cured the leaks. It is heat shrink so you need access for a heat gun but again, it has been a great improvement and a very clean installation. I do not have the link but Amazon sells them. They are a bit pricey ($6-$7) and they are one time use. If you don't need to remove the line to remove your oil filter, this is will work perfect.
Do not archive.
