Hi all,

   Ok, it's official. I got home from work today, got the mail in and had a package waiting for me inside.  Yep, I now have my CH 601 HDS plans and construction manual.         (excitement sets in)          I slowly open the package and proceed to inspect its contents. Somewhere in the process I find that I am inspecting the inside of my eyelids (tired). To relax, I begin paging through my EAA Sport Aviation magazine which also arrived today. And  BAM!!!, right there is an article that someone made sure was in there just for me. "Checking out" "You've commited to building - but are you ready to fly?" Talk about putting a damper on my excitement. I'll get back to inspecting and familiarizing myself with the plans when I'm not so tired (take nap first). Can't wait to make that first cut. Got to get that "honey do" list out of the way first (my unfortunate agreement with wife) before I can start building.

I'm not sure what the rest of the group will say, but I say the flying part

is the easy part (and most fun). Just charge full speed ahead....

All-

    Okay, I'm going to say it. XL, schmeckzel.

    Zenith, the HDS design doesn't seem to want to go away like you would 

like it to, so why not clean up the prints and builder's manual?

    Jerome, my advice is to lock the builder's manual in a time capsule set 

to open after you're flying. For better or worse, you're now a member in the 

club of the most talented people I've ever had the privilege of being 

associated with- HDS builders.
