Having flown my XL for the first time last Saturday I have to agree with most of what I'm reading on (building time).  I can now say I have twice as much money and twice as much time in it as I was expecting when first starting.  Never the less I'm very happy and pleased with the results,  plus knowing the joy of being in the air again.

  I spent 2.5 years,  or  1500 plus hours as a first time builder and right at 60K in the project, yet unpainted. This includes a Jab 3300, and two glass instruments plus.

  There were times I became pretty discouraged,  but after a day or two of thought went right back to working on it.
