List,
Some suggestions for those who aren't happy with the performance of their "cheap" rivet guns.
1. Open canister, empty old oil, clean with a lint free cloth and refill with air tool oil. Be sure and lube piston O-Ring and canister wall with grease before assembling.
2. Remove entire chrome riveter head and Measure distance from threads to end of rivet head assembly. the distance should be manufacturers specs or 71 mm. Adjust by loosening lock nut and turning head. Re-tighten.
3. If you don't have an in-line oil er, periodically squirt a shot of air oil into gun air inlet.
Hope this helps.
