Dean they are working on it.  I will let you know when we can get them.  Here is what I have so far.



Gentlemen

I am somewhat overwhelmed by the response to Doug Jr.'s article in the VAF

website. I will try to bring you all up to date with this note.

Due to your combined interest, the tailwheel from Doug's -8 was removed

from the plane and is on it's way today to an RV8 flier in a warmer climate

for some further testing. Our plane is snowbound and may not get out till

mid to late April. By then we hope to have another opinion as to the

quality and dependability of the design after testing has been finished.

I plan to start today bending steel for the forks (a very slow process)

and to follow this up with a few posts that will eventually be welded to 

the forks to complete the start of the units. (This is in anticipation of a

good report from our testing department.) When they are ready, I'll take 

them to a professional welder for assembly. When finished and painted, I 

will send each of you who are now flying an RV ,or are getting close, one

of these assemblies. You can remove Van's fork and axle, slip this fork

unit into Van's bracket, mount your wheel and steering links and go fly.

Since I'm not set up for production, mine is a one man retirement shop,

all this is going to take a bit of time. I will try to get the flying

planes equipped first. If some of you find a different unit you wish to

try, go ahead, but please let me know so I can keep the list currant.

Price----nothing established yet but I hope to keep it very reasonable for

all concerned. I just enjoy making airplane parts. If you have questions,

just ask and I'll get right back to you.------(Doug, please don't show

these guys the golf club carry unit in your rear luggage bay, my time is 

limited)

I had heard there were some golf club modification, alterations out there. 

Any pictures anywhere?

Just finished installing mine ... really like it ... first done by Doug  Bell 

in Michigan ... great mod for us golfers !!!

starting point for the others to design  your own.
