Here in the Okanagan we are in the 40+C most days and my CJ runs at 50C with the cooler door open. It did hit 90C on a climb out, but I raised the airspeed and reduced that to 65C and then it  went back to 50C in cruise. That was yesterday and today going and coming from the coast. I dop not close the door at this time of year. And I must admit, it runs cooler coming out of the coast - you guts get warm, but never hot !!
