Michel
I changed the jets in my carburetor and my EGT's and CHT are now within
spec. Just a question though? What is your fuel consumption at cruise (2700
rpm). With the new jets I cruise at about 90mph at 2700rpm and burn 14
Ltr/hr. I'm sure I could do better with the smaller jets but now my EGT's
are below 1375 and the spark plugs are coloured a nice and safe tan. I've
also fitted a fuel flow meter and low fuel warning system that works great.
Best regards,
Gary

I don't have a fuel flow meter, Gary, so it's difficult to evaluate
fuel consumption but last year, when I flew to Belgium and back, I kept
a fuel logbook and I got the same as you, 14 liters per hour. So I
think you've got it right.
Cheers,
Michel
