For those who have been asking, the Shelbyville operation is back in full operation.
I haven't seen any comments here, but Dana, Nick's wife and the Jabiru corporate memory, is home recovering from an operation to set a broken collar bone. If you haven't met Dana, she is a neat lady and a real asset to the business. I'm looking forward to her return (so is Pete).
Nick has several flights in so far N17EF, and expects to get in another flight this evening. All is going well with the normal first flight adjustments. Temps are a little too high and not even, so they are adjusting baffles and moving the oil cooler. One flap is sticking a bit, not retracting fully. Minor first fight issues.
I'm in Atlanta at work this week, but will go up next week when Nick decides it's time for me to take on the flying chores. Looking forward to it!
Maybe I can get a ride in Buz's Esqual.

Nick, hope she recovers quickly...I know you guys need her to keep 'ya
straight.... 
Earl, keep the reports coming,can you fill us in on how the plane looks, did
you have your Interior done yet?, etc, etc..
Need some pics!
Let us know how your first "Lightning ride" goes.

Of course you can. Not too sure when I will be in SYI next - depends0 on when my new auto pilot arrives.
