RPAers,

I was contacted by the Birmingham airshow on their upcoming event in late September (22-24).

This will go out as an ecom as well, but if you are interested in flying in a mass formation RedStars team for this event (needing the mass lead, flight leads, wings, & airshow-team laison), please email me direct offline. This is the future of an RPA program where the association helps market our FAST formation members under "RedStars" and we get contacted by event organizers or their laisons. If you think you can make this airshow, or your entire local squadron/hangar group, let us know!

"....Wings & Wheels 2006 is our 74th Anniversary Air Show and for the first time we have a television sponsor. Acts include Greg Koontz, Skip Stewart, Tim Weber, Steve Oliver, Gary Rower, The Pacific Prowler B-25, Kevin Korterud in a T-6 aerobatic routine, and Jamie Lynn parachuting with and American Flag 65 feet x 33 feet. We would really like to have a RedStars formation of Nanchangs/Yaks included. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization with all proceeds going to either the Southern Museum of Flight (which we built and gave to the City of Birmingham as a gift), The BAC Air Saftey Foundation, or the Thurston W. Sumner Flight Education Program. Our website is Birmingham aeroclub.org..."

The RPA only helps enlighten the organizers about the RedStars "talent" and how and where to ask/request for a pilots - the rest is as we say "your show" - the progr
am needs mass leads with experience

Please let us know if you're on for Birmingham,

Drew
