All,
Red Air Fall Fling II is listed event on the RPA website. For those planning on attending but have not signed up please do so as soon as you plans are finalized. There are 18 aviators that have commited to attend to date (not all signed up through the RPA). We will hold a FAST clinic for those desiring the training. The Tactical Portion is firmly embedded in Jello at this time. Seems more want to fly an hour in fingertip than in tactical.
We will be negotiating with the FBO in the next couple of weeks for fuel discounts. Considering that the 30 so aircraft that attended last year burned over 3000 gal of 100 LL.! We expect the same courtesy as was extended last year. As the date nears, we need an exact head count to arrange the logistical support. So please let us know if you plan to attend.
As a heads up, Red Air is planning on holding a Spring Fling (at) Fairhope 's newly upgraded airport on the Alabama Gulf coast. The date will be coinside with the Fairhope airshow on 19 - 20 May 07. They are hoping for 30 Red Star Aircraft to attend. The accomadations for this past May were outstanding as was the communities' support of those pilots that attended. So saying all, this we (Red Air) plan to help kick off the event by arriving early and playing long!
