Make the change to auto plugs and wired form Dennis. You'll be glad

Can anyone give me some sources for replacement plug wires on my 52?
I would prefer same o.d as old ones. Looks like fishing it
thru..... is in true Russian tool shed fashion..... [Rolling Eyes]
Thanks!

Thanks for the idea. But….. I would like to keep the old style set up. What I need is the name of a supplier that sells the weed whacker HT cable. At least that’s what it looks like. I’m assuming that someone has obtained it in the past??????

Try George Coy 802-868-5633.
But if you want a better running and a happier engine loosing the Russian wires and expensive plugs is the way to go.

The only 5 mm wire in reasonable lengths that I have found are here.

never had any trouble with them. Have fun!
