I swapped the probes as well as slightly lowering the front ramp and, oddly enough, the #1 cylinder still reads higher even though it’s now reading the #3 cylinder. Obviously the probe is a little off. However, by climbing faster (110-120 knots) I’m able to keep everything below 400 with a few deviations on the #1 indication to 411.

Great news. Congratulations!
On the CHT, I was going to suggest swapping the probes. It’s always best to make sure you truly have a problem before solving it. Keep us posted on this, as we have not seen this problem at all with the air ramps.
Hey, X35 is almost inside you test flying area, isn’t it (wink wink, nudge nudge). Keep it going.

Here are some pictures from N585MR before and after the initial voyage yesterday. No true RV-Grin shots, but I assure you it was there! I put another 1.5 on it today and all is going great. I got the pictures as small as possible, my apologizes if the e-mail is still a little large.
Regarding the high #1 CHT, I swapped the #1 and 3 CHT probes and it turns out the sender must be a little off as it still showed #1 to be a little hotter than the rest. I also trimmed the baffle slightly, climbed out faster and all is good on the CHT gauge.
One lesson learned from yesterday was I have 3 EFIS displays, a great Garmin stack and all I could find was the airspeed indication! New panel, new instrument crosscheck. Today went much better although the Dynon hung up at 60 degrees of bank and never fully recovered. I have not installed the updated software (firmware?) so hopefully that will help. I was able to take the time to work the avionics much more effectively, even listened to some tunes briefly.
Great machine, can't wait to fly it again.
