After I re-built my cooler installation to increase input air opening, increased cowl exit opening, added "lips" on the bottom of cowl to add low pressure for exit, re-sealed all my baffles etc. Well, I checked the temp sender and it was OK(hot oil at 200°F) and then the last check was the Veritherm (200° oil). Naturally it was a vernitherm with only 3/16 " travel, which is not enough to seal off the port to get oil into the cooler. Replaced the vernitherm and oil is now 195°F !!!! It was as high as 225°F on 90°F days.
