I thought at one time I read on this list that someone had modified the lubrication system on a 912 with a check valve to reduce or stop oil migration from the remote sump to the crankcase when the engine was not operating. I would be interested in learning more of about this modification if in fact it has been accomplished.
Thanks

How long are you letting the engine sit. Reason why I ask is because this is not an issue with me. Of course I only have let it sit for no more than 3 days at a time. When I do go and start I first turn the prop over for 3 compression strokes to make sure the engine isn't locked up, then I crank the engine(mags off) until engine pressure is reading(about 6sec), then I stop turn on the mags and fire away, fly away.
