Ray,
Is the engine nipping up at the end of the run, like when you start to pull
the throttle back ?
If so, then you should check the position of the needle clip. As you pull
the throttle, the fuel flow from the main jet gets restricted by the needle.
It was a common problem back when we raced 2-stroke bikes. Would be fine
when flat out, but roll off the throttle at the end of a long straight, and
it would seize. I would raise the needles up to make richer for the run-in
period. Cold seizure is what happens when you fail to warm the whole engine.
Sounds like it would be pretty warm after 59 mins.
