Very flat, not holes.

I have now covered it with plastic, and it will remain like that during all the drilling,
fitting, deburring, priming, assembling and disassembling.

Same process I used for the tail feathers.

I read a posting a while back (I believe by George Pineo) that polishing it *after* drilling
makes a fine mess.

Hey Carlos, Looks real shiny. Is it ready to rivet or just a flat sheet without holes?

How do you attach the plastic to the sheet?

How much $ a square foot? Wow, not to mention the work. I know they look great polished, but I don't know if I have that much time! lol
Aircraft spruce doesn't carry it, but most aluminum suppliers carry pre-polished 6061-T6 already covered in vinyl sheet. As long as your polishing in the flat, you might give this a shot. It's about $2 more per square foot.
