At 16.00 hrs UK Summer Time today, G-SMDH finally took to the  very beautiful skies over Blackbushe Airport, Hampshire, under the capable  hands of Pete Jeffers. Peter disappeared from view for about twenty minutes and  on completing a successful and sweet landing pronounced that the aircraft  performed well with one or two tweaks necessary.

 For the record, G-SMDH is a Europa XS Tri gear (no 403) with a Rotax 912S  with Warp Drive fixed pitch prop. Weight has been finalised at 861lbs - total  build time was +2500 hours and counting. 

 Peter then invited me to take to the air with him (for data collection  purposes) and I found it to be a wonderful experience and can't wait to sit in  the left hand seat.
