Greetings gang,<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
I know this group is quite global, but my question today is very local in nature, so please bear with me... (Thanks In advance!)
Yesterday (Saturday 9/2/06) while working out in the yard a light plane circled overhead, as if trying to decide to land or not on my simple grass runway. Looked like, but I am really not sure, a mid-wing bird, maybe a Mini-max?
Anyway, there was no doubt they were here and most likely finding a GPS coordinate that planted them at my place. I waved and really hoped they would land, but after several circuits, they flew off... maybe it was too windy a day to try out a new short field?
Anyone know who the mystery flyer was? I just want to extend an invitation for them to return!
And to keep this Kolb related, were the mystery flyer to have landed, I would have been happy to bore them to tears showing them my Firestar 2! J
