 Silverwest airport (C08) near Westcliffe Colorado  is having an open house Saturday Sept. 9, 2006 from 7 AM until sometime in the  afternoon. As part of the festivities EAA chapter 1422 is doing the Young Eagles  thing. We have received lots of interest, much more than expected. And now one  of our planes is down with a mechanical problem. 

  

 If you are nearby and could help out, we would  really appreciate it. A free lunch will be provided. Westcliffe is west of  Pueblo CO in a high mountain valley, ~ 50 miles by road. Field elevation is  about 8,000 ft. Runway is 7,000 ft. There is 100LL available. For mogas users I  will personally truck it in for you in 5 gallon cans from a local gas  station.

  

 We don't want to disappoint any youngster. If you  can participate, please email or call me.
