C,raig,"
What are the "W" fittings, and where can I obtain them? Iam facing the same installation on my Yak 50. Thankyou.

Dave,

Just installed a JPI FS-450 before my trip to OSH. Works well once the K-factor is adjusted. Luckily, there is an auto-adjust feature so you enter actual used vs computed. I coupled mine to the Garmin and it will show NMPG, which is a great feature for adjusting power settings and altitudes on long X-countries. With my aux tank I did 440 NM in light quartering headwinds. Would not have done it without the Fuel flow and GPS coupled.

Install is no big deal with the "-W" fittings...which I have installed on my M-14P.

Craig and Cliff,
Do you all prefer the JPI 450 over the Shadin? I was given a relatively new Shadin system but from what I see of the JPI 450 seems to be a little easier to work with. Any one have the shadin mounted? I can not see that the Shadin interfaces with a handheld GPS where the JPI will do so. The JPI also uses a 2 1/4inch hole in the panel verse the 31/8" hole for the Shadin Digiflow. Any other thoughts?
