I am trying to source a link to a maintenance/install manual for a Skymap IIIc so I can change the internal lithium battery. Can anyone help please ??

Richard,
I don't have a Skymap IIIC installation manual, but I did replace the battery in my unit last year, after about 5 years of operation. I used Digikey part number 439-1015-ND:

Hopefully you can find an equivalent in the UK.
The battery needs to be soldered onto one of the circuit boards - not a problem if you are handy with a soldering iron. Getting the thing apart & back together again was a bit of a puzzle, but not too bad.
