I guess we are using quite different systems. I cannot stop the attachment download with the delete key. That just deletes the msg prior to the one downloading and the attachment continues to download. If you stop the attachment downloading then you lose all following msgs.
The other approach is to use the daily summary, but that means opening each msg as an internet msg. NOT a good way when on dial-up. But at least it is possible to delete msgs with huge attachments.
Remember, Matte put a limit of 1 meg attachments a couple of months ago due to this very discussion. Could we respect that without slinging insults and expletives?
