Ralph has added a great deal of banter, humor, and food for thought, ect. to this list. To become so righteous over one simple post of an audio file, is almost silly. No, it is silly.
Yes, our list has its core purpose to share Kolb related content, no doubt. And I would never care for this list to become a dumping ground of web files and other crap that is floating around the internet. But a non-Kolb file once in a while, does it really hurt that much?
I think back to some of the flight videos we have seen, Munford crash video ... was not a Kolb, but did we not all learn something from that one?
If a member of the list gets to posting too often crap, we can rely on Matt to hit the brakes. One or two files that share a bit of humor, with aviation, is fine by me.
Besides, Ralph (unofficial, Judge of Kolb Dashboards gave me a 11 of 10 points, so I am obligated to support him!)
Now, for my Kolb Content....
Hangar progress... (Manchester Kolb House) is going well.
The building panels were stored outside for the past 10 (yeah 10) years.... and have some green fungus crap on them. A scrub brush is working well to clean things up. Wade L loaned me a pressure washer, but the scum was just to tough, mixed with the oil coating the panels were shipped with, and has thickened over the years. A brush and manual labor seem to be the best attack to clean it up.
Nearly finished cleaning, and will start assembly soon, next weekend if the weather stays nice. Purchased some scaffolding on eBay for the erection of the building, arrived yesterday. A great deal I think, if you need some, BadgerLadder.com was the site. So soon things will hopefully be shaping up. See pic if you care, if not, don’t waste your download bandwidth.
