I have an Airmaster with warp drive blades. I note that some people have rounded off the corners on the tips of their warp drive blades. Is this just for cosmetic / safety reasons or is there any increase in performance by doing this?

My tips are rounded because I nicked one of then in moving the airplane around on the ground. I radiused the edge and made all the rest look the same as the affected tip. Many people have done this.
