I stand corrected. The fuel line comes from the fine fuel screen filter to the carb. That was the line that FOD'd the fine fuel screen filter. Have not gotten the hose back from Doug to look at it yet. Will post some photos of the fragements and the hose when it gets back from fabrication.
Well, now you know the answer to the next EP question. Guess I will have to make the next question this: "Why is it the D#$%^d prop always stops in the vertical when your are having to dead stick the D(at)#$%^d (D(at)#$%^d) airplane!"
Fly Safe and review those EP's regualarly, Just never know when you are gonna need them!

What keeps you from hitting the start button quickly to get it horizontal? I know in your case that is the last thing you were worried about but if you had the time, I think I would work that prop horizontal.

Nothing to keep me from hitting the start button. Just it was all over
within 10 to 15 seconds. I had time to make a radio call to my wingman on
TO roll, turn the mags off, and turn off the electrical along with the pull
the fuel cutoff. All at the sametime making sure I flew the airplane. Luck
was on my side along with the grace of God. 15 seconds later, I would have
been trying to fly through/between the big trees. The gear would have come
up then for sure.

Hence the reason to discourage intersection TOs. I always go to the end for the very reason that runway behind you, altitude above you and fuel in a truck somewhere do you no good at all.

I'm with you on that one. Have always rejected the intersection TO.
