|
|
I guess I’m blind. It’s a snow day and I’ve read through every manual I have (a total of four) for my 912ULS and I can not find the gap setting for the spark plugs. Could some one that is sure of what the gap should be please help me out, and if your really feeling benevolent you could even tell me which manual and page it is written on.
Thank you

Rick,
the spark plug gap is 0.7 - 0.8 mm for the 912ULS. You can find this
information on the "912 Maintenance Manual" document d01855 on page 38.

Hi Rick,
I usually set mine at .028 I like the slightly smaller gap because it has been easier to start on cold mornings. I have tried .030, but went back to .028. At a .028 my plugs are a light tan in color.
Go to the Rotax owners website. Open the Kodiak section. On the left side open the line maint. manual and page 102.
gap to be .027 to .031
I have printed this Line maint. and the heavy maint. manual out and put them in a 3 ring binder that I leave in the hanger. Printing it is cheaper than $29.95 and quicker.
