The 912S seems to be the engine of choice in most recent VLA / LSA designs including the prototype Cessna LSA.



I assume that these manufacturers want their powerplant to be bang up to date, like the airframe. It also seems reasonable that Rotax have a product update strategy and timetable.....and the 912S has been around for 5 or 6 years now.



Unfortuately googling "Rotax update fuel injection etc etc" doesn't shed any light on the issue.



Any good Rotax 912S replacement rumours would be gratefully received!
