Do any of ya'll in the south get together and fly up. If I am able to purchase a plane that will fly at comparable airspeeds with several of ya'll that would be a hoot. We keep in touch.

Brother Bug...
A noble sentiment, Sir... but I doubt there is anything currently passing
itself off as an airplane that
will fly at "comparable" airspeeds to my machine without endangering
innocents along the route of flight....
If'n I came in the Kleenex Kolb, my preliminary calculations indicate I
would have to get airborne
by early Thursday of next week to make London by September...
I cipher that to be a 92 county trip... My machine does one county per jug
of gas... not counting
the Lockwood factor.
I would not necessarily be hard against trying that trip, but I suspect that
the formidable Mrs. Beauford has some
chores in mind fer yours truly between now an then... not to mention the
time required
to disassemble the KK at London so the UPS guy can pick it up... (I wouldn't
want to try
that hoot twice in the same lifetime.. Mama always told me that self-abuse
was evil...)
