In Gene Smith's interview on Ultra Flight Radio he said he has someone's Kolb MKIII that he is putting one of his V Twin engines on. Does any one know anything about this? I suspect Gene misspoke and it is Firestar or one of the other smaller Kolbs. Please let us know how this engine works out.
Also sorry about my earlier post I thought it was off the list. A senior moment.

Rick,
I would say Mr Smith was refering to putting his engine on Mr Starks wifes Mk-2.
Mr Starks you might recall is the Great writer, former school teacher that flys a VW powered Neuport replica in the Kansas City Dawn Patrol. He is frequently featured in EAA mags and Kitplanes. One of my all time favorite aviation writers, right up there with our own Grey Baron.
