Hi group,
Just wondering if any 7 builders have gone with the Superior 400 cube engine. Does any one know the power rating and weight ?.
Ti install one is the engine mount required the same as suplied by Vans for the 180 H.P. io 360 or the 200 H.P. model.

The Superior brochure says the XP-400 weighs 316lbs with a compression ratio of 8.5:1 and 210 hp.
The Superior brochure says the XP361 weighs 316 lbs with a compression ratio of 8.7:1 and 200 hp.
So the XP-400 is the same weight, 10 more horses lower compression.
You can choose the Type 1 or 2 Dynafocal or conical engine mount. The price is scary high but maybe competition will bring it down.
