不准踩踏
My friend from Shanghai says:
Yeah, more like "no stepping" meaning "do not step on ...
..on the wing if it's written on the wing.
U see part of the 3rd and 4th characters : 足 meaning "foot"
Ok so I don't see foot but it's late but I hope that will help. Perhaps the characters/fonts up top can be pasted into some vector art program and sized appropriately for your purpose. Good luck!

Dave,
Chinese was my language in college.
I’m pretty sure that the simplified characters are: 不 准 踩 踏 Bù zhǔn cǎità
Specifically, "不” means "not"; "准" means "allowed"; "踩” means "tread"; and "踏" means "step on". So it means "not allowed to tread or step on”. “No step” wold be the corresponding English translation for what we do in aviation.
If someone needs this as a file in a .PDF or .JPEG format to make a decal, I’m happy to do so.
Hope this helps.

I have been using Aero Graphics and am very satisfied with their product. I am sure they can help you with the "no step" decal. http://www.aerographics.com/index.php

Hi Warren,
Is there any chance that you have a PDF with all the Chinese characters (and an English translation) so that I can put them on my CJ? Or anyone else? I want to go see a vinyl cutting place to put a template together for me.
Thanks,
Jeff
