All 406 ELTs must be registered to the owner of the aircraft. Please read and follow the attached SB if you are an owner of a SLSA or ELSA LS1. Even if you have registered the 406 ELT is must be renewed on a periodic basis and yours may be expired. This is made clear during delivery of the aircraft and must be complied with.
This only applies to owners or operators of Factory Produced SLSA and ELSA aircraft. However if you are an owner of an kit built Lightning and a 406mhz ELT you may want to check it out.
