I use a 300 cu/ft bottle that was converted from a nitrogen fitting to an air fitting. Your gas supplier can do this, as well as the hydro test that is due every 10 years. The process used to create medical breathing gas and industrial compressed air is the same. The difference is whether you require a medical certificate or not. A big difference in price for the cert.
The filling process starts on a balanced line of other bottles where all are first purged with Nitrogen, stabilized for several hours and then Oxygen is added to the correct percentage. This process delivers air that is 99.9% free from moisture. My last bottle a few weeks ago cost $50 for the fill. My primary test for any vehicle purchase is if that the bottle and dolly will slide in and fit.
