Subject: RV-List: Eye Medication
I am writing for a friend. A while back there was a discussion about eye
medication to improve the eyesight to help with getting a person thru their
bi-annual. I failed to write down the name of the medication but now I wish
I had. Can anyone please tell me what was the suggested medication?
Lutiene is good for Eye Sight

According to my eye doctor...
Lutein 30mg daily
Zeaxanthin 2 mg daily
Omega-3 fatty acids 1 gram daily
Apparently nothing factual or proven but "appears" to help short term eye sight and long term protection. I started taking this about a year ago and really don't know of any changes. I feel it's cheap insurance and can't hurt. Your eye doctor might have a different take...
