Are there other reducer/retarder chemicals that would work with the
Stitts, Poly fiber ? If not,,wonder what the effect of cooling poly
Brush in the fridge before applying? Would that work? Herb

Herb,
Dug out a can of BR-8600 Blush Retarder.
Contents: Ethylene Glycol Butyl Ether
No other ingredients listed.
Boy, I would have to dig out an old college Chemistry book to see how to make that. Heck, it has been nearly 35 years since I was in Chemistry class, Ethylene Glycol Butyl Ether may not have even been invented yet!
1 to 4 ounces of BR-8600 per Gallon of Poly-Brush, Poly-Spray, or Poly-Tone, according to the label.
