The ASI in our front cockpit started reading 10-15% high about 2 months ago. This error has been verified in formation with others at various speeds and in stalls (it breaks at about 140 km/h indicated vs. 120 km/h normally). I haven’t had a chance to compare with rear cockpit; nevertheless, suspect something wrong with static side. Any suggestions?

If there is a static leak inside the fuselage, you may be able to see the change by opening and closing one of the slider canopies. Many years ago, that's how I found the static leak on my personal Yak 52, which caused my airspeed indicator to read high. Closed the canopy and the airspeed would drop. Open it and the airspeed would increase.

Thanks Dennis. I'll give the canopy test a try.
